Friis-Holm Chokolade, founded by Danish chef Mikkel Friis-Holm, aspires to be one of the top chocolate makers globally with the mission: “Best in the world, best for the world.” Mikkel’s passion for chocolate was sparked in the late 90s during his time in San Francisco, where he connected with Scharffenberger Chocolate. In 2007, he began collaborating with Nicaraguan cacao farmers through a Danida-supported project, and those beans remain central to Friis-Holm’s production. After years of honing his craft, Friis-Holm established a factory in Denmark in 2014, where all production has since taken place.
Friis-Holm Chokolade La Dalia 60 % The Lazy Cocoa Growers Blend
165,00 kr
Friis Holm affectionately calls their La Dalia chocolates “The Lazy Cocoa Growers Blend” because the farmers refused to sort the different cacao beans, leading to a delightful mix of varieties. Despite the name, this blend produces an outstanding chocolate. Our La Dalia 60% features bright acidity, rich chocolate notes, and hints of red berries. Part of the same series as La Dalia 70%, 85%, and 100%, this chocolate is also the base for our ‘Flødeboller.’
Ingredients: Cacao beans, sugar, cacao butter.
May contain traces of milk. Min 60 % cacao solids.
