This cacao tea is made from whole cacao beans, which Standout Chocolate carefully roasts to preserve their natural taste profile. After roasting, the beans are cracked into smaller pieces, separating the shell from the cacao nibs. The cacao shells are used to craft this tea, while the nibs are reserved for their award-winning chocolate. With notes of chocolate, ripe stone fruit, and raisin, this tea offers a rich and flavorful experience.

Sourced from smallholder farmers in the Duarte province of the Dominican Republic, the cacao is collected fresh and brought to a central fermentation station within 4 to 6 hours, ensuring top quality. To brew, heat water to 95°C, add 1 heaped teaspoon of cacao tea per 100ml, and let steep for 4 minutes before pouring.
