Friis-Holm Chokolade, founded by Danish chef Mikkel Friis-Holm, aspires to be one of the top chocolate makers globally with the mission: “Best in the world, best for the world.” Mikkel’s passion for chocolate was sparked in the late 90s during his time in San Francisco, where he connected with Scharffenberger Chocolate. In 2007, he began collaborating with Nicaraguan cacao farmers through a Danida-supported project, and those beans remain central to Friis-Holm’s production. After years of honing his craft, Friis-Holm established a factory in Denmark in 2014, where all production has since taken place.

Our La Dalia 60%, part of the playful “Lazy Cocoa Growers Blend,” features a mix of different cacao bean varieties, offering a fantastic flavor experience. This 60% chocolate is bright and acidic, with rich chocolate notes and hints of red berries. It’s the perfect choice for our ‘Flødeboller’ and is also paired with O’Payo nibs for an added crunchy texture in this variant. The La Dalia series also includes 70%, 85%, and 100% versions.
