Luisa Abram Purus River 70% Dark Chocolate

112,00 kr

Sourced from cacao grown along the Purus River in the heart of the Amazon, this chocolate is a tribute to tradition, sustainability, and rich flavor. The cacao is the main source of income for Cooperar, a cooperative founded in 2007, uniting nearly 200 extractivists across 51 riverside and indigenous communities along 800 km of the river. These communities rely on fishing, subsistence farming, and the harvest of bananas, beans, and corn, reinforcing the importance of keeping the Amazon Rainforest standing while diversifying their livelihoods.

This chocolate reveals woody notes of Portuguese chestnut, cane molasses, licorice, cardamom, and green olives. Its creamy texture beautifully harmonizes with the sweet depth of molasses, creating an intense flavor experience—almost like burnt chocolate with a delicate floral touch.

Each package includes two 40g bars, individually wrapped for convenience, totaling 80g. Enjoy this remarkable chocolate at peak quality, knowing each bite supports the forest and the communities that call it home.
