The Trinitario cocoa beans come from Kokoa Kiamili from Mbingu, the Kilombero Valley in Tanzania.
When the cocoa beans are fermented and dried, managers Simran and Brian always play Tanzanian music on the radio. It is the classical music of the 70’s of Tanzania and is called Zilipendwa, which loosely translates as “those who were loved”. Mesjokke always chooses a title for their cocoa. Here it is “Let’s Dance!” by David Bowie. The call of this chocolate is therefore: scha-wingngngngngng.
