Certified Organic – The Ambolikapiky Plantation, part of Bertil Åkesson’s 2000ha Bejofo Estate, is situated in the Sambirano Valley, in the North-West of Madagascar. Since 1920, the plantation has been producing world-famous aromatic cocoa. Alongside 300 tons per year of Madagascar Trinitario cocoa, a very limited production of Criollo cocoa (2 tons per year) is also harvested. This chocolate boasts a highly expressive cocoa aroma complemented by a subtle fruity-sweet tartness and delightful flavor notes of citrus and red berries.

This chocolate has a nice melt, but the texture is not completely smooth. Flavor notes of sweet raisin, lemon, vanilla, grapes and dried apricot.
